Induction Support Volunteer
What the role involves:
Organising volunteer orientation or `meet the team sessions. Providing an organisational induction to new volunteers. Acting as a `buddy by providing informal one to one support to new volunteers during their settling period. Organising taster/trail/test drive sessions for people thinking about volunteering for Cats Protection.
Skills and experience required or could be developed: -Experience in people management -Good organisational skills -Ability to prioritise and delegate simultaneous tasks -Ability to communicate well with individuals and groups at all levels -Ability to think and plan ahead -Patience and diplomacy -Good IT skills Expected time commitment: -This is a very flexible role it is not unusal for volunteers to spend 2-3 volunteering hours per week.
